PERMANENT ROLE
SALARY £25-£30K DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a qualified full time electronic test engineer to lead our electronics department based at our factory in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire.
Key responsibilities:
- Functional testing of board level audio products.
- Fault find electronics down to component level to determine cause and remedy any faults, repairing final assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.
- Reworking boards as required to a high standard of accuracy, including Single and multi-layer PCB’s with Through Hole and SMD components.
- Provide technical support to the Production Manager for procurement of obsolete or out of stock parts.
- Production and maintenance of test method procedures if required.
- Versatile and flexible with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to liaise with external customers for upgrades and repair requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Solid knowledge in electronics especially analogue and power.
- A knowledge of audio amplifier circuits would be useful.
- Be conversant with the use of audio analysers, digital oscilloscopes, and similar audio test equipment.

PERMANENT ROLE
SALARY <£9.50 PER HOUR DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE
Due to our continued growth a position has become available for a Warehouse/Inspection Manager based at our factory in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have an excellent eye for detail, good numerical skills and ability to maintain records. The opportunity could lead to other positions within the company.
Key responsibilities:
- Keep the Warehouse and factory clean and tidy according to guidelines.
- Inspection and counting of goods in, quarantine parts as required.
- Assist with product packing and other duties as required.
- Drive company vehicle to drop off and collect external work.
- Ensure all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines.
Education and Experience:
- Over 25 years old with a clean driving license.
- Excellent eyesight for close inspection work.
- Good time keeping essential.

PERMANENT ROLE
SALARY £9.50 PER HOUR
Due to expansion a great opportunity has become available for a Trainee CNC Operator. The right applicant will receive training to become a programmer, setter, operator in our engineering department based at our factory in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. With one-to-one training by the department manager, you will join a team manufacturing parts for our audio products.
You will be trained in the following:
- Read drawings and creates CNC programs accordingly
- Setting up and programming CNC machines
- First- off dimensional tests on new programs
- Feeds and runs CNC machines
- In-process controls using manual devices (gauges, micrometre)
- Finished product inspections
- Safety - handling of CNC machines
Education and Experience:
- Good capacity to work in a small team.
- Methodical skills, good dexterity, and common sense.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently
- Willing to improve themselves and their work environment
